If it had not been the Lord...

"If it had not been the Lord who was on our side.." is how Psalm 124 begins and it ends with, "Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth." How many times in life have we been reminded of this truth that King David knew so well.  David reminds us of God's Sovereignty and ultimate power as the Creator of the world in which we live.  That means God made everything and knows it intimately well.. including Rachel's body and every detail of her heart that is broken and needs to be repaired.  God...

Now to HIM who is able...

Doug McCary on September 7, 2011

Last week, we made travel reservations for me, Lori, Kate, and Ellie to leave for China on Sept 8th and bring home our new daughter, Rachel. That's right! We're adopting again.  If you know my wife, then you are not surprised!! Rachel is a seven year old Chinese girl that has a severe heart defect and is in desperate need of surgery to correct the problem.  You can read more about Rachel at Lori's blog by clicking here !  Last friday, we were expecting a large donation to cover the remaining balance needed to travel this week.  We needed to have the...

Each of those events were led by men's ministry leaders who God has raised up to lead their respective regions in establishing a grassroots "discipleship tea party" movement.  These leaders have...

John was led to Christ on the streets of Bhutan as...
